Oscar's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Meet Oscar - this handsome 7 year old’s family is moving over seas and unfortunately he is unable to move with them so Fuzzy Pawz Rescue is trying to help the family find him a new loving home. You have to meet him to appreciate that very cool main he has.

He is very adventurous and loves to play, but he is chill and enjoys being with people also. Like many a cat Oscar is very predictable and has his routine. He enjoys sitting on your lap for extra love and petting. He grows a long mane in the winter and is quite majestic.

He gets along great with his brother, Percy so if you want 2 they would be the perfect pair. They enjoy grooming each other and occasionally playing and have been together their entire lives.

Oscar currently lives with his brother Percy, a cat friendly dog and 2 small children so would do well in most any household.

Oscar is neutered and vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Boise Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Boise, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
