Hello People!
I'm Dolly, a darling Bichon of about one who weighs 13 pounds and is a “girlie girl!” I love snuggling and cuddling and am so good at it that Dad says I’m therapy dog materials. (Dad says I have him wrapped around my cute little paws- and I haven’t even tried very hard.)
People are my favorite ‘things’ in the whole world! And little people are even more special to me. (Did you know I was found at an elementary school, surrounded by children? Well I was and I loved them all!)
Mom says I'm a very social girl -- and a hit wherever I go! I love to take walks so I can greet all the neighbors. I always make them feel welcome. And last week Dad took me to the groomer. She had to cut off a lot of my hair (so it will grow back white and soft.) And when she was done I felt so good that I gave her a bunch of kisses to thank her!
I’m also a very playful and bouncy little girl. Give me a squeaky toy and we can play a game of fetch. (I promise you’ll like it… really!). Oh and I also like a good game of chase with my doggy foster sister. (If I need to get her ‘going’ I do a play bow-- and then run! We have such fun together!)
I’m a snuggler and a lover, good with people - and good with other dogs of all sizes. Mom says I have beautiful silky soft hair– and that I’m VERY smart and very trainable. Why I’ve already learned ‘Come’, am housebroken and learning how to use the doggy door.
Dad says I enjoy my walks, rides in the car, and to snuggle. (He calls me a cuddle bug and says getting belly rubs is my favorite thing to do.) At night I snuggle up in my crate for a good night's sleep (but would love to sleep in the Big People’s bed in my forever home!).
Mom and Dad agree I'm a "special girl" who deserves a wonderful family. Maybe you are the special people who are waiting just for me. If you're looking for a little girl who has both beauty and brains, who will adore you forever, then just ask for Dolly. I'll be waiting at the door!
