Kaden's Story...
Kaden has adjusted to family life after being found as a stray, probably dumped by a breeder when he was no longer of use to them. He was in horrible physical condition and did not know how to relate to humans. Well all of that has changed and Kaden has adjusted and is happy in his foster home. Now that he has learned "normal" dog behaviors from the other dogs, it has become apparent that Kaden cannot hear. To compensate for his hearing loss he uses his keen sense of smell and sight. He likes to SMELL & OBSERVE EVERYTHING! He enjoys shadowing another dog on his adventures but is willing to go it alone. He loves exploring the outdoors best. His foster family is working with him on hand signals to communicate. Kaden is very observant and watches every movement. His foster family uses touch to reward him, wake him, comfort him, he responds very well to butterfly kisses on his head and face. Kaden does not require a lot of extra care, just love and patience, a family that understands his special needs.

*Crate trained.
*Housebroken - need to observe and learn his signals.
*He likes to play with other dogs, "peek a boo" is his favorite game and he can play for hours, he loves to run when they turn around and surprise him.
*A home with another dog is best Learning from another dog is important for him and also gives him a visual alert to his environment.
*Children over 12 yrs recommended but willing to consider younger children with the ability to understand his special needs.
*Good on leash when walking one-on-one. Will follow tthe lead of the other dog(s) on a group walk.
*A fenced yard is recommended so that way he can safely be off leash to go exploring.

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and given monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete and application located at: http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html The completion of the application does not in any way, obligate you to adopt. It is the first step in meeting a dog you are interested in. Once the application is approved, the second step will be a home visit/meet and greet with your pet. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are 'furever' happy! Questions email: gina@dogsunlimitedrescue.org

And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!

About Our Rescue Group...
Dogs Unlimited Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to educating the public and saving abused and neglected animals from an uncertain fate. Our organization rescues animals from high kill shelters, abuse or neglect cases, owner surrenders, and the breeding parents in Ohio puppy mills that would otherwise be inhumanely disposed of. We improved their lives by providing quality care and placement into permanent loving homes. We will continue to educate, rescue, rehabilitate and encourage the adoption of pets from shelters and rescue groups.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our rescue animals are fostered in approved homes. these homes and fosters are carefully chosen and qualified on a case by case basis. We conduct adoption events at Pet People in Woodmere and Hudson, OH as well as combine fundraisers with adoption events to promote Rescue efforts and recruit volunteers and donors.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fees range from $50 to $300. Dogs Unlimited Rescue requires an adoption application to be filled out by the potential adopter, which requires 2 personal references and a vet reference. After the potential adopter is approved to adopt, the adopter is required to fill out an adoption agreement at the time of the adoption which clearly states all requirements and agreements between the adopter and DogsUnlimited Rescue.
(Please be advised we do not ship our dogs; we do not adopt our unaltered pups out-of-state; and we do not have a physical shelter - all our dogs are cared for in loving foster homes)
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
