Choco's Story...
Choco is a super sweet, purebred American Cocker Spaniel. He weighs about 16-18lbs. and is roughly five years old. He is excellent with other dogs and would make a great family companion. He is ok with cats too ! He loves to play with toys and be around his family...especially when they're giving out belly rubs!!!

Choco was surrendered by a family who could no longer care for him. He arrived in our rescue with double ear infection, eye infections and thinning hair and dry skin from a flea infestation. He started off a little shy but is now a lively, loving boy!

He is working on his house-training skills and is doing well.

*Choco prefers children 10 years or older.

If you are interested in Choco, complete an adoption application quickly. He is too sweet to be in our rescue for very long!

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and given monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete and application located at: http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html The completion of the application does not in any way, obligate you to adopt. It is the first step in meeting a dog you are interested in. Once the application is approved, the second step will be a home visit/meet and greet with your pet. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are 'furever' happy! Questions email: gina@dogsunlimitedrescue.org

And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Dogs Unlimited Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to educating the public and saving abused and neglected animals from an uncertain fate. Our organization rescues animals from high kill shelters, abuse or neglect cases, owner surrenders, and the breeding parents in Ohio puppy mills that would otherwise be inhumanely disposed of. We improved their lives by providing quality care and placement into permanent loving homes. We will continue to educate, rescue, rehabilitate and encourage the adoption of pets from shelters and rescue groups.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Choco, a Pepper Pike Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Pepper Pike, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Pepper Pike.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pepper Pike already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pepper Pike breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pepper Pike paves the way for another one to be saved.
