Dolly's Story...
I was abandoned and found wandering the streets and ended up at the shelter where I spent a lot of time watching people pass me by. I don't know why, I am really cute and just want your attention.
I have lots of energy, I get along great with other dogs. I have lots of fun in my foster home playing with my foster mom's three big dogs. I am doing great with my potty training, but will probably need a refresher course in my new home.
Dolly would make a great addition to an active family. With her high energy, she would do best in a home with older kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Sacramento American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
