Jasmin was adopted from BFF when she was only 7-8 weeks old into what seemed a great home. She was dropped off at a local kill shelter a little over a week ago and we found out only because she still had her rabies tag on and it was tracked back to BFF. Jasmin is now back with her original foster who did not hesitate to take her back in. Jasmin is a Boxer mix that was rescued out of Pinehurst Animal shelter by BFF with her siblings in the first place and then had to be rescued out of another shelter a second time. We will never understand why people chose to do these things when they could have just called us and we would have picked her up with no questions asked. The good news is that she was healthy and as you can see in the pictures she still has that adorable smile. She is safe again and we hope to find her a true forever home this time around.

BFF Pet Adoption is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization. We are small group of dedicated volunteers trying to make a difference in SETX. All dogs brought into our rescue live in foster homes and are never at risk of euthanzia. From pit bulls to chihuahuas, puppies to seniors and special needs, if we have the room no dog is turned away. For most dogs this is the first times they've ever been loved or cared for. We are always in need of fosters and volunteers so if you can open your heart and home to help save a life we would love to have you on the BFF team.
All of our adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered prior to being adopted. They are up to date on all shots, heartworm tested and on preventive. Every dog that we adopt out, are adopted as indoor pets and will not go to homes to live outside. Every dog in our rescue to be part of the family and taken to the vets for regular vaccines and heartworm preventive

BFF Pet Adoption is not a shelter. All of our dogs are in foster homes which means they are in loving homes temporarily until their forever home can be found. We host adoption events at Petco in Port Arthur Texas every Saturday from 10-5
All potential adopters must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license. There's an application followed by home check. All adopters must have a fenced in yard and a home check will be done. We also check vet references, and never adopt as "outdoor" dogs"
Small breed dogs (under 5 lbs) are not adopted into homes with children under the age of 13.
The adoption fee for available dogs is $150.00 depending on the dog this may change.
