Facts about Honeydew

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 5437800
  • Hair: Short

This is Honeydew. She is being fostered by a kind woman who took her in on a cold and windy night.

She was an 'outdoor neighborhood' cat for her entire life. Apparently she and her mother* were spayed by some people who could not or would not take her in the house. The vet estimates her to be between 3-5 years old. She's tested negative for FIV/FeLV, had a dewormer and a deflea treatment, she's been cleaned of  filth that was on her and her nails were trimmed.

Honeydew is very people-friendly, petite, sweet little cat who loves affection. It's time for her to have a real home. Her foster  already has 7 cats so she cannot keep her.

Can you please give Honey a safe and warm indoor home?

Because some of our guys may still need spay/neutering and follow up immunization shots, they cannot adopted by anyone who lives over two hours away. Sorry, but we just can't drive that far to provide these services. Also, we cannot ship any animal.

All of our cats and kittens are in foster homes. Please contact us at lynnsanimalrescue@gmail.com to set up and appointment to see them. We have life-time placement for all of our rescue's so that they forever have a safe haven.

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship cats/kittens.  We try to stay in all of our adoptees lives, so if you are not local to 08053 then we appogize but are unable to adopt to you.

Our kittens can be adopted out at a young age as a foster to adopt agreement as long as the pet parent is home a good deal to meet the needs of the baby. In this particular case we will need to meet up for age appropriate vet care as the kitten matures.  This process ensures a social relationship between human and kitten along with a great deal of one-on-one care and additional bonding time with kittens new forever home.

Thank you for understanding!

About Lynn's Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are officially a new rescue but we have been "in the business" for five years working with other rescues. We are very experienced with cats. We try to find the right cat for the right person, taking into consideration age, children in home, whether you want a lap cat or a frisky cat. etc.
We also like to keep in contact with our cats new pet parents. We love hearing how they are doing, answering any of your questions and always willing to let you return a cat if for any reason it just doesn't work out.
UPDATE: Stephanie has joined our group and is now rescuing dogs! Keep an eye out for doggy profiles, too. Email chfostermom@yahoo.com for application and information. Thank you.
