Paninni's Story...

Beautiful Paninni (Nini) is a 4 year old Rat Terrier mix who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue from the Idaho Humane Society and we couldn’t be more thrilled they have entrusted us to find her a forever home.

Nini has come a long way since she first went came to us. She has learned some basic commands and that people are not all bad. Nini was very shy and scared when she first arrived at her foster home but has come out of her shell and now loves attention, belly rubs and walks. Nini is wonderful on a leash and listens intently when you talk to her whether you are giving her a command or just talking to her you will have her undivided attention. Nini loves to please so picks up commands and tricks easily. She is crate trained and house broken and she quickly learned how to use a doggy door.

Nini is very loving and enjoys getting rubs and kisses and likes to give kisses and play with both furkids and humans. She enjoys being near her human, but is also fine just lying on the back of the couch when no one is around. Nini would do best in a home with another dog that is still young enough to play as she does have a high energy level so would be best suited to an active family; she would make a great walking or hiking partner. Nini is not a fan of cars but does well when she rides in one she will just lay down and stay put until you arrive at your destination.
Nini currently lives with a cat and they play together, she is very gentle and careful when playing with the cat and smaller dogs in her foster home. Nini is spayed and current on shots she is 4 yrs old and weighs approximately 16 lbs. Nini would be best in a home with no children under 10 years.
Nini is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paninni, a Boise Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Boise, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
