Susie (LE)'s Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Tortoiseshell | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Short |
Born around February, 2010, Susie is a beautiful dark tortoiseshell girl. Her black and orange coloring highlights her light green eyes. After taking care of several litters of kittens while an outside stray, Susie decided it was time for someone to take care of her. She walked into an abandoned house one day and never left. Now indoors and out of harm’s way, she is nurtured by her caregiver. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to grab your attention by rolling around at your feet. She has had her fill of adventure and now longs to be the object of your affection. She loves her treats and will thank you with purrs and head butts. You might say she is lucky to have wandered inside, but we feel we are truly the lucky ones to have been there for her.
Susie is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this pet, you can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on "Pet Adoptions" complete the form, and send . Rescue Group Info...
Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
