Rilee's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rilee's Story...
Can you say, "Super Size Me?!!!" Big beautiful six year old Rilee is patiently waiting for his forever person to bring him home. This big ole lunky, long-haired, laid back bear rug is fairly set in his ways. He's no athlete, so forget about the morning runs. Lazing around on the livingroom floor or at your feet on the front porch, living the easy life and keeping it simple is just how he rolls.
Rilee is neutered, kennel trained and friendly. A fenced yard is the recommended.
Rilee's adoption fee is $75. For more information call FAWS at 225-252-5138 or email at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rilee, a Clinton Collie/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Border Collie for sale in Clinton, or seeking a Collie/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Clinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Border Collie breeders who help with Collie/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
