Troy's Story...
Troy the Prince, and that’s what this sweet boy should be treated like for the rest of his life. Removed from his previous owners for humane issues, Troy has a limp due to an old injury which was not treated right, but he's healed healthy, and the best orthopedic vet in LA vouches he'll have a normal full life. In fact, it does not stop him from being as fast on his three good legs and enjoying life — you would never know he has been through so much in his past. He's good with any creature, two- or four-legged! Troy is a terrific boy, a lovely shiny coat and so much love to give to the lucky person who takes him home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Troy, a Marina del Rey Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
