My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This boy is a hairless Chihuahua. however he does have a few patches of hair. They are on legs, chest and head. He is a super loving dog. These dogs do sunburn easily so they need sunscreen if outdoors for long. And they need lotion once a week, to keep their skin from getting dry. He is approx 6 years old, and weighed 10 pounds then ,but now is 15 pounds. We are working to get that weight off!!!!!!

The history on him is that I brought back from the Sand Springs, Okla. area, where he was found as a stray. he had a companion dog with him and he was very protective of the female. She was pregnant. We thought he was the father, but when I met the man who was surrendering them, I noticed the dog was neutered. He looks to possibly be a sibling, to the female (Graycie Blue), although not from the same litter. They look so much alike!

I had already told another rescue that they could have him. I almost changed my mind, he was so loving. Well, he went to the other rescue and its been a year now, and they still have him.

So I asked to take him into our rescue. He has gained so much weight, he must now go on a serious diet. and because he has been kept inside, he is now nervous and somewhat scared. We will be working with him to bring him back to the happy dog he was........

He is fully vetted and we just updated his vaccines and had his teeth cleaned and microchipped him. All he needs now is a forever home!

He will be with us when we are at adoption outreach at Petsmart in Edmond. the store is located on Broadway in Edmond. We are there on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, from 10:30 to 4.

His adoption fee is $100.00

Please note, we do not adopt to families with children under the age of 10 years old. We do require a securely fenced yard. and all other pets in the home must be current on vaccines and either spayed or neutered, unless there is a medical reason.

He is fostered by DK
