Racquel is one of five siblings rescued from south Philly along with their mom who was prego again and ready to give birth for the third or fourth time and three others on the street who were also all friendly. It was a busy rescue weekend. Racquel and her sibs are all loves and amazingly friendly for and healthy for living the first ten onths of their life in a cement backyard with no real shelter and minimal food. She is a little princess who loves all the luxuries of an indoor life. Soft beds are a real treat for her and she loves bed time and snuggling in with you.
When she was spayed it was discovered taht she too, was already about 3 weeks pregnant at oly 10 months ! She was really lucky to be rescued and not repeat what happened to her mom. Racquel is now ready for a home to call her own. She is good with other cats but would be just as happy as the only one in the house.

Green Street Rescue (GSR) is an all volunteer non-profit whose goal is to humanely reduce the stray cat population in Philadelphia, through rescue work and adoptions and the practice of Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) for feral cats.
