Taz's Story...
Hi! My name is Taz. I was rescued from a high-kill animal shelter in the South. I'm a ball of energy eagerly awaiting my furever home. My favorite pastime is playing, so I'm looking for a family that can match my energy level to keep me entertained. I love playing with people and other dogs! My ideal human guardians will take me along on vacations, go on outings with me, have a large fenced-in yard so I can play, and provide me with unconditional love and security. I'm very curious. Once I pick up a scent that I find intriguing, I have to explore it until I'm completely satisfied. If you are interested in meeting me, please call (201) 797-8861 or email startkayne@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taz, a Elmwood Park Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
