Christopher's Story...
Christopher is a 3 year old male recently reitred from a moderate race career in Caliente. He appears to do fine with small dogs and cats. Christopher is now in foster.

I’m Christopher, a medium, black tail-wagger. I like people and they like me. I saw First Lady Michelle Obama on the television this morning – wow – you go girl. Can this woman dance, or what? I’d sure love to meet her. We could bounce around the floor at the White House and I could show her a few greyhound moves guaranteed to amaze her husband. Mm, well, maybe not. I forgot. Mrs. Obama only has two legs, and you really need four to learn my dance moves. Hey, perhaps I could teach Bo?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christopher, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
