Kasha's Story...
Hello. My name is Kasha. I'm a fun loving 1-year-old calico. During the day, I enjoy napping, playing, and eating. When volunteers visit me, I get so happy. I rub my face all over theirs and purr like a motorboat. Sometimes I give kisses, too! Most times, I roll around in my bed anticipating coveted pets while meowing my demands. Stuffed mice and catnip drive me bonkers. My new fur-ever parents should definitely keep a drawer well stocked for me! If you are looking for a loyal friend who occasionally talks back, then I'm the kitty for you. I'll stay by your side after a hard day, and I'll even snuggle next to you in bed! I'm spayed, parasite-free, current on my vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

If you are interested in meeting me come visit me at Petsmart located at 155 East Route 59 in Nanuet, NY on Saturday 12 pm - 4 pm and Sunday 12 am to 4 pm. Please e-mail startkayne@gmail.com or call 201-797-8861 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kasha, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
