Angel's Story...
Hi! My name is Angel. I am a 1-year-old orange and white domestic short hair. I first came to START II's shelter with my litter of kittens. Now that they have been adopted, I'm ready to find my purrfect fur-ever home. I'm quite a calm kitty, not crazy like most my age. Some of my favorite pastimes include napping, receiving pets (especially cheek scratches!), and occasionally talking with volunteers. My ideal fur-ever home should enjoy being around me and show lots of love in the form of backstrokes and treats. I am already spayed, current on my vaccinations, parasite-free, and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

If you are interested in meeting me come visit me at Petsmart located at 155 East Route 59 in Nanuet, NY on Saturday 12 pm - 4 pm and Sunday 12 am to 4 pm. Please e-mail startkayne@gmail.com or call 201-797-8861 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
