Babe's Story...
Babe is a young, black female lab mix with the kindest, most loving heart you will ever find. She is sponsored by Karen, one of our dedicated PAAC volunteers who selflessly gives her time playing with the dogs out at Animal Control. Karen is sponsoring Babe in memory of her cousin, Terri, who recently passed away just 3 months after being diagnosed with brain cancer. Babe loves to play and then curl up beside you to have her head scratched. She would make a wonderful family dog. Upon adoption, Babe will be spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and her adoption fee is FREE pending an approved PAAC application. You can download an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/ and email it back to info@ccpaac.org. You can TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information.

You can visit Babe at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road.
Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:45 and Saturday 1-4:45 p.m.
Make sure you ask for Jerrod or Stephanie when you go visit!

*Dogs require monthly heartworm prevention so please research this expense before adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babe, a Corpus Christi Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
