Gwen's Story...
Meet Gwen! She is approximately 8 weeks old and is an English Pointer. Gwen came from a shelter in Kentucky with a sibling and is quickly adjusting to and loving life in her foster home. She is working on house- and crate training and basic commands; she is a very smart little girl. Gwen has been the perfect balance between a great snuggler and an active, playful pup. She provides so much entertainment with her stellar personality and has loved every dog and person she has met so far and vice versa. She loves stuffed toys, rope toys, and biting the plants! She does well in her crate and is sleeping through the night. Gwen is looking for a forever home to fully appreciate how wonderful she is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gwen, a Columbus Pointer/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pointer for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Pointer/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pointer breeders who help with Pointer/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
