My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Morris the Cat... to be more descriptive, meet Morris, the friendly, young, handsome, easy-going, super social Cat. This boy would easily qualify for the infamous generations of 9 Lives Cats bearing the same moniker. In fact, back in 1995, Adopt-A-Pet cat, Jack, was selected after a nation-wide search to wear the title of Morris the Cat. (Go to our Happy Tails - From Rags to Riches page to read more about that.)

But let's not digress too much from our current in-house star, Morris, who is a friendly, about 2.5 year old love bug with an interesting jog in his tail. A tale explaining this would be interesting to know, but alas, how he acquired this feature we can only guess. It could be broken, or perhaps he was born with it, but it doesn't seem to cause him any discomfort and gives him a quirky characteristic to call his own.

You can meet young Morris the cat at Wilmette Pet Center (625 Green Bay Road) anytime during store hours 7 days a week. Please understand that although you may want to adopt him on the spot, you will need to complete an application first.

Morris's adoption fee of $115 includes: vet exam, fiv/felv test (neg), rabies vaccination, distemper combination vaccination, deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
