My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For an application go to GSRCNY1.ORG. They take a couple of weeks for processing. Once approved an appointment is made to meet the dog/s. Thank you for your interest in one of our wonderful dogs.

KELLY – This 3 ½ year old white female has lived with us for quite a long time. When she first came she was an escape artist and there wasn't a fence that could hold her. She now stays in the yard and is able to enjoy our warm sunny days. Kelly is spayed, updated on shots, is heartworm negative and micro chipped.
She is best suited for an adult household as an only pet.

Kelly has developed heart murmurs on both sides of her heart which were found on her last vet visit. She could live a long healthy life and might not. All we want for Kelly is to have a loving home she can live out the rest of her life no matter how long or short it may be.
KELLY is a 2 1/2 year-old white spayed free-spirited female. She is very active, intelligent, and good with people. She loves to hike in the field and the woods nose in gear. She’s gotten much better with cars and unexpected sights and sounds. She’s learning basic commands. Though she came to us as an accomplished escape artist, she has made great progress staying in her covered run and the outside pen! She is best suited to an adult household with a male dog companion, plenty of on-lead exercise and mental stimulation. She could also have a kennel for exercise but it would have to have a secure top due to her climbing ability. This lovely girl is looking for her forever home, is it yours?
UPDATE--Kelly continues to work with our trainers and is making noticeable progress. We still feel she is best suited to a patient owner with extensive German shepherd experience. Maybe you! She is micro chipped, up-to-date on all shots and heartworm negative.
