This is a courtesy posting - these dogs will remain in the home of their owners until a new home can be found for them.Enzo (the white and blue and 6 years old) and Mateo (all blue and 7 years old) have been with their current family since they were puppies. It is breaking the heart of their family right now, but they can no longer keep them due to personal reasons. Lake Haven has agreed to help them find a home.We would like to keep both of these boys together, since they were raised and lived together since they were pups. They are both neutered and will be up to date with vaccines if adopted.According to their family " Good with kids and dogs, not sure with cats. they LOVE love love car rides (says their "aunt" lisa) and she says they are "super snugglers" Mateo is more laid back and reserved and Enzo is more outgoing and playful."

All of our dogs are tested for heartworm, are up to date on vaccines and started on flea and tick prevention. All our cats are tested for feline leukemia, FIV and heartworm upon entry and are brought up to date on all vaccines appropriate for their age and treated for fleas and ticks. If a pet is too young to be spay/neuter at the time of adoption a voucher will be provided to cover the cost of the surgery.
We bring most of our available dogs to the PetSmart in Grandville MI on the 1st three Saturdays of each month from noon until 3 pm. If you want to see them at other times you have to send us an Email to make arrangements. Since many of our dogs are in foster homes it may take some time to make the viewing arrangements if you can't come to PetSmart. Many of our cats are available for viewing at PetSmart any day during their store hours.
Adoption Fees:
Cats and kittens:
- Adult cats declawed - $100
- Adult cats not declawed - $75
- All kittens - $75
- Barn cats - $25
Dogs and puppies:
- Mixed breed - $150
- Purebred/designer - $200
Lake Haven is an all-volunteer private, non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue dedicated to the care and adoption of homeless and/or injured dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. Even though we do not provide any transport service we have adopted to people as far away as Philidelphia, PA. We will adopt to anyone from anywhere as long as their adoption application is approved and they are willing to travel to South Western Michigan.
