My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Madison is the smallest of her litter, weighing 4 1/2 pounds at 9 weeks of age. But don't let her small size fool you: she is more than able to hold her own with her much larger siblings and friends. Feisty is a good word to describe her! Madison is well-socialized, very friendly and enjoys a good snuggle in your lap-- after she's done exploring and playing! She barks when left alone, so would be best in a home with another doggie playmate or stay at home person to dote on her.

We don't know anything about Madison's parents, so she needs to be adopted by someone willing to take pot luck in terms of how big she grows, and what breed she turns out to be! Since she's still very much a baby, Madison needs a family where someone is home part or all day, in order to get her potty-trained as well as keep her exercised and socialized.

You can meet Madison at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the adoption process first.

Madison's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, flea & tick preventative, deworming, microchip and spay.
