Prince's Story...
Mattie’s puppies – Mattie is a sweet lab/shepherd mix girl and she has the sweetest little puppies ever. She has 4 beautiful robust puppies – all boys. They are all thriving and healthy and enjoying just being puppies. They were born on December 22nd which would make them about 9 weeks old now. They are all well socialized and now ready to go to their forever homes. The puppies look very much like lab puppies and have the lab features These sweet babies don’t have a care in the world right now, except when is it time to eat, is it time for a nap, ouch - someone is pulling on my ear, who took that squeaky toy – just typical little puppy things. They have the sweetest little faces and love to be picked up and hugged and cuddled and talked to. And did I mention all those puppy kisses? They are all just a great big bundle of love.
Mattie’s puppies are up to date on vaccinations for their age and micro-chipped. They are all great little puppies looking for a loving, caring family to call their own. If you think your family can give any one of these gorgeous babies the love and nurturing that they need and deserve, indicate them in the notes section of the online application. They will bring you years of love and devotion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
