BASHFUL's Story...
BASHFUL is a 4 year old cutie from New Mexico. She came in as a Husky, but there is some Beagle in there and she looks like she could also be GSP. This is her original shelter picture with updates. Her ideal owner would be someone that knits or loves to shop for warm doggie coats as she is cold natured. She is a sweet girl that loves to go for walks in the hopes she might see a squirrel or a bunny, but otherwise is content to curl up on her dog bed next to the fire. Bashful plays with the other dogs in her foster home and does not react to cats. She has learned to use a dog door and is housetrained, spayed and u pt to date on vaccinations. Sponsored by Dancing Dog Rescue and Recovery Ranch, Inc. Adoption fee: $150. Please email dancingdogrescue@earthlink.net for an adoption application or more information. Foster home needed. Bashful is current on vacinations and spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BASHFUL, a Littleton Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Littleton, or seeking a Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Littleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Littleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Littleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Littleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
