Mac's Story...
Hi, my name is Mac! I am a 6-7 month old Mountain Cur mix. Yes, that is a real breed, look it up! I am very friendly with people and other dogs. I love playing with my foster brothers and sister and raiding the toy box for fun things to play with. I love to snuggle and watch TV with my foster people! I have learned my basic come and sit commands, but I know I can learn lots more! Is there anyone out there who is looking for a friendly, loving, smart puppy to call their own? I will be neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $200. Please apply for me at rescueofhope.com. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mac, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
