Divina's Story...
Hello...my name is Divina. I came from the streets of Beirut, Lebanon to find a home here in Michigan. I'm young mountain cur mix dog. I probalby have Canaan in me, too. I have had a rough life so far. I'm hoping to find someone who will love me for life! I was wandering the streets where I was in danger of being poisoned, shot or hit by a car. Someone saved me and because of Animals Lebanon I was able to come to the US to find a family. I'm a playful and very intelligent girl and would make a great family pet. I love kids. I am good with most dogs and love to play, but I play rough and would need to find a buddy that matches my play style. After playing all I want to do is snuggle on your lap and be loved! I love to snuggle! I would do best with a male dog or as an only dog. I would do best in a home without cats. I am spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $200 to help cover the cost of my trip to the US and my vet care. Please apply for me at rescueofhope.com. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Divina, a Grand Rapids Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mountain Cur for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
