CHLOE (Courtesy List)'s Story...
Chloe is a beautiful 4 year old collie mix that was rescued just in the nick of time from a county shelter. She is a sweetheart that just loves attention, hugs and belly-rubs! She loves nothing more than curling up at your feet or beside you on the couch. She walks perfectly on the leash and loves to go for a walk or a jog and is fully house-trained. I probably wouldn’t recommend a home with small children, only because she doesn’t know her own size and knocks my son over on occasion! She gets along great with my other 3 dogs. She is currently being fostered waits patiently and quietly for you to return home. This beautiful lady deserves to find a really great home and she will reward you by being a loyal and constant companion. If you are interested in Chloe, please submit an adoption application through Border Collies In Need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHLOE (Courtesy List), a San Pedro Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
