Daphne's Story...
I am named from the beautiful water nymph whose radiant appearance caught the adore of the god Apollo. It is a beautiful story and a beautiful name if I may say so. Look into my eyes and you will see that I radiate beauty from within as well as! I do receive many complements on my appearance, but beauty is only fur deep. I feel to be truly beautiful one must have a beautiful heart, not just a pleasant visage. So I do try my very best to be a gentle and caring soul. I love respectful kids, doting on my humans and playing fun games outside. I get along with all types of canines, large and small. I also like to keep a clean crate so as to show appreciation for what I have. It is little things like these that I think make a canine truly beautiful. I hope my appearance catches your eye, but I hope that you fall in love with the dog I am inside. 2 years old-51lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
