My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have found a new home for Winston and he will soon be going home with his new family.

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING ONLY: Charlotte Cocker Rescue of NC is not to be held responsible for the health or temperament of this dog. He is currently under the care of his owners who really need to find him a home ASAP. This dog is in Wilmington, NC.

My name is Winston and I am a really sweet, buff, 7 year old, neutered cocker boy. I am looking for a new home because my family is gone alot due to their work schedules, and I am having a really hard time with my separation anxiety issues when I am left alone. My family adopted me from a cocker rescue in Texas when I was 2 years old, and I have had a good life with them and they really care about me. But, they feel that I deserve better and are now hoping that I can have a 2nd chance to have a great life with a new family who can appreciate me for the special boy that I am and spend time with me too. This has not been an easy decision for them, but they really want me to be happy and get the attention and love that I deserve.

I am a good boy, very loving, heartworm negative and I am current on vet visits and necessary shots. I will do best being adopt into a family with someone who is home alot and does not have children, as I am not completely trustworthy around kids without supervision. Or I could be a good choice for an older person who is home alot, would love a wonderful new friend to spend time with and does not have company visiting and bringing children, as I just don't do so well around them. I would love to be adopted to a great new home with someone who can spend lots of quality time with me, give me love and just let me be their baby boy. My owners will tell you that I will truly make someone very happy to share their life with me and I am looking forward to getting the attention and love that I deserve. If you are interested in adopting me and would like to find out the details, please contact my owner, Amy Nemmers at: anemmers@gmail.com. There might be a small adoption fee and an application to fill out, but this is just because my family loves me and wants to help me find the perfect new home. Please help me to find the home that I deserve.

Winston is indeed a sweetheart of a guy! We really hope to find him his perfect home so that he can be happy and have a loving home. Please help us to make this possible. You can contact me: Amy Nemmers at: anemmers@gmail.com for details and I will gladly answer any questions. Please put "Winston Inquiry" in the subject line so that I will know that the email message is about him.
