Grumpy Bear's Story...
Greetings! My name is Grumpy Bear. Silly name, eh? My mom's name is Secret Bear, and we lived with some other kitties named Bedtime Bear, Cheer Bear, etc. You get the point! My estimated birthdate is September, 2012. My mom and I were rescued from a neglect situation in the fall of 2012 near Green Bay, WI. We lived in foster care for several months while we were nursed back to health, and now we're sooo very excited to find forever homes of our own! My mom and I are the spitting images of one another with our adorable white mustaches; we would make quite the attractive pair if you're looking to add two kitties to your home! I'm a little sweetheart, and a cutie patootie to boot! Please come and meet me soon! Hugs, Grumpy Bear *PS-I'm not grumpy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grumpy Bear, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
