Elyse in MD's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Elyse in MD's Story...

Elyse is doing very well with her allergy shots. She went in for a dental, did fine and did not lose any teeth. Elyse just loves to be close to my side at all times, so she is going to need a mom or dad who loves being very close with her. I found out the other day that she is a very good nurse. I was home sick and each time I would lie down, she was right in bed with me lying by my head. Every 45 minutes or so she would reach over and give me a few kisses on the cheek just to make sure I was OK. This is the kind of love Elyse will give to her forever mom/dad. She also loves being with, and playing with, our dogs. Elyse must have been a good mother because she is forever cleaning our dogs. If you feel you could stand all this love Elyse has to offer - then get an application in.

About Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue Network - North East Region

About Our Rescue Group...

We are NOT A SHELTER with a single physical location. Instead, we are a national network of volunteers working to help re-home Cairns in need.
We began as a small internet community of people trying to help one of their members through the heartache of losing a little Cairn named Col. Potter. In the weeks that followed that simple process of showing care and support, a national Cairn terrier rescue was born. It filled a void to serve a wonderful, randomly protected, and sometimes misunderstood breed. Cairns can have every kind of personality, from laid back to intensely lively; most fall somewhere in between.

Our rescue attracts caring foster homes who will provide guidance and love; sometimes for the first time in a rescued Cairn's life. Our foster homes also provide an honest, realistic evaluation of each Cairn's personality, so an approved applicant can expect to be matched with a Cairn whose traits and behaviors fit their lifestyle.

At present, Col. Potter has just under 200 foster homes all over the United States.
