Pansy's Story...
When my sister, Spotty, and I were adopted together as kittens, we were so happy in our new home. We have always been well behaved and love to sleep and play together. We use our scratching post, never play bite and have very good litter box manners. Then things turned bad. Our family was re-located and couldn't take us with. the shelter scene has been pretty scary for us but we are slowly adjusting. We are very bonded and would like to stay together. Looking for two beautiful ladies to keep you warm on cold, winter nights. Come meet us, I'm sure you'll love us.

Pansy came to ADOPT with her sister, Spotty, in February of 2013, when their family could no longer keep them. She was born around July of 2010.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pansy, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
