My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Though we cannot say for sure what Shelby's mix is, we can say that she looks just like the dog from the Traveler's Insurance commercials (who is also a rescued Terrier mutt). And she is just as smart and trainable as he is.

Shelby is only around one year old and is around thirty pounds. She gets along great with all of the dogs at her foster home, both big and small. She doesn't like it when the dogs run and play rough, though, and she tries very hard to tell them to stop, but usually to no avail.

Shelby enjoys to play fetch with a human, or, if need be, she'll throw the ball for herself and romp around after it. It is very endearing. She is great on leash, knows basic commands, travels and sleeps well in a crate, and has a great personality. She can be independent and is not clingy, plus she would make a great family dog.
