I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
This is Blondie! She is a 3 year old sweetie who is full of energy and loves to be around people. Blondie was adopted originally from the shelter 2 years ago. But, she got loose and was picked up by Animal Control as a stray. When they discovered her microchip and called the owner, he told them he wouldn't be coming down to reclaim her because he couldn't afford her. Having heard so many good things about this girl and her playful nature, we couldn't bear the thought of her reaching the same fate she nearly had the year before so we saved her. Blondie would make a wonderful companion for any family and is looking for a truly forever home.

Rescue Group Info...
We rescue stray dogs or those in Florida shelters whose time is up and adopt them out to loving homes. We are amazed at the amount of dogs that are unwanted, unloved or abused, so we're trying to make a difference one dog at a time!
During the week, by appointment. Most weekends we are at various pet stores around Orlando and we try to update our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Barkies-Legacy/237852656255202 with our events. It's always good to send us a message to confirm we'll be there as we'd love to have you come visit our babies!
We believe our dogs and puppies deserve the best homes, so all prospective adopters must have good references and agree to a home visit. All our dogs are up-to-date on shots and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee is charged to help defray veterinarian and other expenses. We have promised our babies that they will never have to worry again, so adopters will sign a contract agreeing to take good care of the animal, and if an adoption doesn't work out for any reason, the animal MUST be returned to Barkie's Legacy.
