I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Hi - I'm Murphy! I ended up in rescue as I was found thrown over the fence at a local vet's office. They got me all up to snuff in terms of vetting and a kind rescue offered to help find me a home. I am about 1 1/2 years old so still have lots of energy. I get very excited about walks but do calm down eventually on the leash and will walk nicely with you. I also feel clausterphobic in crates so those don't work so great but I'm very content in another room provided I have a toy to play with. And, I LOVE treats. :) Please consider fostering/adopting me - I'm in boarding right now and really would enjoy being in a more personal environment where I can be shown how a dog deserves to be treated!

Rescue Group Info...
We rescue stray dogs or those in Florida shelters whose time is up and adopt them out to loving homes. We are amazed at the amount of dogs that are unwanted, unloved or abused, so we're trying to make a difference one dog at a time!
During the week, by appointment. Most weekends we are at various pet stores around Orlando and we try to update our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Barkies-Legacy/237852656255202 with our events. It's always good to send us a message to confirm we'll be there as we'd love to have you come visit our babies!
We believe our dogs and puppies deserve the best homes, so all prospective adopters must have good references and agree to a home visit. All our dogs are up-to-date on shots and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee is charged to help defray veterinarian and other expenses. We have promised our babies that they will never have to worry again, so adopters will sign a contract agreeing to take good care of the animal, and if an adoption doesn't work out for any reason, the animal MUST be returned to Barkie's Legacy.
