lyndon- adopted!'s Story...
Name: Lyndon
Age: 1 year
Breed: Chihuahua mix
Gender: Male
Lyndon is an adorable, sweet and good natured Chihuahua mix. He is about 8.5lbs and built for lap warming! He loves being held and drifts into a dream state once comfortable. He has a medium energy level and is playful with the other dogs - he's even great with the puppies in the house! Lyndon likes the companionship of the dogs, but would probably be fine as an only dog so long as he got some play time with people. He is nothing but sweet to people (even during vaccinations) and settled into his foster home very quickly. He is crate trained and house trained as well. Lyndon isn't very barky either- he will give an alert bark if he hears something, but doesn't yap. He would be fine with children old enough to know how to be gentle with small animals, and he'd be a great companion for an older adult, as well. Like all of our animals, Lyndon is up to date with vaccinations, heartworm negative, and will be neutered before he is adopted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

lyndon- adopted!, a Greensboro Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
