B.B.'s Story...
"Hello everybody...if you are looking for an incredibly sweet, very lovable, beautifully marked, and very friendly Pit Bull mix girl, then look no further than my kennel. My name is B.B., and I'm a one-year- old gal who is over all of that puppy-stuff. I'm a lot of fun to be around, and I enjoy going for walks and getting my exercise. I sure love playing fetch, and I'll bring the toy right back to you. I need a yard in my new home so I could enjoy myself, and I'd love to have one of those comfy and snuggly dog beds in the house, so that I could always be close to my person or family. I get along very nicely with other dogs, and I'd make an excellent family pet. I love getting brushed, because I know that it keeps my beautiful coat always looking its very best. I enjoy hugs and tummy rubs, too. You'll see that I am really so very sweet! A trip to our shelter would not be complete until you and have met, so come on over to the shelter and we can get acquainted in one of the great exercise yards they have for us here. Just ask our very kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the beautiful girl whose name is B.B., and who knows, we just might become best friends forever. Wouldn't that be grand? About Our Shelter...
We are the Animal Shelter for the City of El Cajon. We also house animals for the City of La Mesa. We take in strays and animals relinquished by their owners from these two City's only. We adopt out the animals that are not claimed by their owners. You do not have to live within the City to adopt an animal from us. We sometimes have animals other than dogs and cats.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located in the City of El Cajon which is east of San Diego. 1275 N. Marshall is two blocks north of Fletcher Parkway, Marshall runs parallel with the trolley tracks.

We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm. The latest we start an adoption is 4:30. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee for dogs is $80.00 and cats are $80.00 All other animal adoption fee's are based on the type of animal.

We do an evaluation with you and the animal to be sure that it is the best animal for you. We require that all children in the household under 9 years old be evaluated with the animal and if you are adopting a dog and you currently own a dog, your dog needs to be evaluated with the new dog to be sure they get along.
