Starlight Mint's Story...
Starlight Mint is one of five cute and cuddly kittens, all mostly black but with gorgeous white markings. Starlight Mint has a white band from her chin all the way to her tail, and white back legs. Her momma Samantha, a declawed blue point Siamese (reserved) was found as a stray and already pregnant, so we let her have her kittens. Starlight Mint is growing up in a home with other cats, a dog and toddlers so will be well used to an active household.

As you can see from the photos, Starlight Mint is very young- born 21st Feb- and so we are not sure of his/her sex yet but our best guess is she is female, and the kitten will need to stay with her siblings and momma until mid April, but can be seen in the foster home now and reserved with paid adoption fee ($60 for one or $100 for two which includes their spay/ neuter, vaccinations, full health check and microchiping with free lifetime registration).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starlight Mint, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
