COLE is a gorgeous, sweet and loving 6 year old Black Lab. He weighs approximately 89 lbs, is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is heart worm negative and is currently on heart worm prevention and flea/tick protection He gets along great with people, adults, children and other dogs. He is house trained and crate trained. COLE has NO known health issues. He was surrendered by his owner because she is military personnel and was being deployed and needed to find a GREAT home for him. This gorgeous 6 year old lab has an abundance of energy! COLE delivers a sweet burst of high-octane energy and is tailor made for young, active, athletic and adventurous people who love to run, hike, swim etc. A beautiful and athletic black lab, Cole is very special and will do best with a special owner who understands the brains and drive of a great dog like this. He has successfully completed basic obedience training in an in-house training program at Highland Canine Training, LLC. in Hickory, NC. His trainer states that he is very smart, eager to learn and eager to please. He is very responsive, sweet and friendly with people, and gets along well with his kennel mates. We know that he is very alert and tuned in to any movement around him and that would make him an ideal candidate for agility training, playing fly ball or just plain Frisbee! He is an excellent candidate for scent training and we hope that his forever family will provide that for him along with lots and lots of LOVE!! COLE will come with a new Easy Walk Harness and lead and a collar and leash, Rescue ID Tag and HW prevention. Highland Canine Training, LLC will also continue to work worth Cole and his new forever family at no charge. He has many good years left to share his love with a very special someone. He will be a very LOYAL, LOVING and GREAT friend and companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COLE, a Dallas Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
