Torrie's Story...
Torrie is a gentle, quiet Tortoiseshell kitty with those beautiful Torti colors! Super-sweet Torrie loves to curl up on your lap and be petted while she purrs and sings her kitty songs to you.

She needs a new home because her former owner became gravely ill and no longer is able to care for her. Torrie is an affectionate two-year-old female kitty with a tender spirit and gentle nature. She is petite and slender, weighs about 6-7 pounds, and is best friends with her good cat friend, William.

Torrie loves affection, gives head bops, and is happy and content to be with her dog, cat and human family. She is healthy, spayed, and negative for FIV/FelV. Her vaccinations are up-to-date, she is microchipped, and is friendly with dogs, cats, and children.

She can be adopted alone, or along with her friend, William. >^..^<

Please call her foster mom, Darline, with any questions you may have at 269.353.7115. Darline can explain the easy adoption procedure if you want to give Torrie her well-deserved forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Torrie, a Kalamazoo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kalamazoo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kalamazoo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kalamazoo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kalamazoo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kalamazoo paves the way for another one to be saved.
