This beautiful exotic boy is named Shadow. He is reported to be a Desert Lynx, which is an exotic breed that is known for being intelligent, active, and having uniquely patterned coats. Shadow has leopard-type spots and is a tawny brown color. He has a very regal-looking face, and expressive eyes. He also has a shorter tail - which is SO cute!
Shadow had to be surrendered by his owner because she lost her home and became homeless. It was extremely upsetting for her to have to surrender her beloved pet, but she could no longer provide shelter, food or veterinary care, so she knew it would be best for him. She was absolutely sobbing in the shelter lobby when she turned him over, and it was heartbreaking for everyone.
Shadow has done very well in his foster home - his foster mom reports that he is a laid-back boy (which is surprising since exotic breeds can sometimes be high-energy and easily bored). So far in his foster home he has been a sweet and gentle boy. He is a LOUD talker and likes to sleep under the covers.
Shadow has been de-clawed on all 4 paws, so he can never venture outside since he will be unable to defend himself or escape any potential danger. Shadow would love to find his new forever home where this regal-looking boy can be king of his domain and spoiled for life.
Shadow has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has been de-wormed and flea treated, microchipped, and also has been tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV viruses. He is approximately 7 years old, and his adoption fee is $85.

We are a small independent rescue group that pull cats & kittens from high risk situations.
All of our available cats & kittens can be visited in there foster homes by appointments or at adoption events
All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application prior to visiting our available cats. Adoption fees range from 75.00 - 150.00.
