Ari's Story...
Hi I’m Ari. My name means strength of a lion, or heart of a lion. And what a HUGE heart I have. I love my twin sister, Zariel (we call her Zari though), and cry if she is not around, I really take care of her. I also love to snuggle, snuggle, snuggle. I spend my days chasing my sister, playing with ANYTHING I can get my paws on, sitting in the window bird watching, and searching for that elusive red dot that appears and then disappears (I’ll get it yet!) In between all that fun there’s always some napping at the top of my favorite cat tree with my sister, Zari. We have been together since we were found at an early age in a feral colony. We're very close and want to stay together. Do you have the heart to have us in your home? Ari & Zari should go to a home with no other pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ari, a Lincoln Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
