Murdock's Story...
Looking for a handsome companion to hang out with? My name is Murdock, and I'm a young adult, about three years old. We can go for walks together, and I'll curl up at your feet and keep you company in the evenings.

I had a home recently, but my owner let me run loose and then didn't come to bail me out after I was brought here. I'm a really good boy with a delightful personality, and I'm sure that I would adapt to YOUR home quickly.

Please give me a second chance ... so many people overlook us black dogs (even us super-handsome ones). I'll be waiting to meet you; ask for # A031857.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murdock, a Springfield German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Springfield, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
