Meet Tank, a beautiful and sweet, three-year old Pit Bull. Tank adores people and other dogs - he is a big lover (although he is not great with cats). He is housebroken, neutered, chipped and up to date on his shots. Tank is good with kids, walks well on a leash, and loves to ride in the car.

Unfortunately, his owner is moving and can't take Tank with him - and he is desperate to find Tank a new home ASAP. Tank would love to find a family that can give him the love and attention that he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Santa Monica Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
