Maggie's Story...
Maggie, AGE - young, BREED - lab mix, WEIGHT 45 lbs. - Contact mthavens@gmail.com
Maggie is a sweet and carefree dog, full of playful energy and love. She was rescued from a busy street and has adapted to living in a home beautifully. Maggie, full of personality, loves to play with other dogs AND gets along very well with cats. She is an obedient, young dog who only wants to please her family and have her ears rubbed. Happy and loving, she greets everyone she meets with a lopsided smile and wagging tail. Her favorite pastime is running circles in the yard and playing with chew toys and bones. Maggie has already learned some basic obedience commands and is house trained. She would be a GREAT addition to a family with children or other pets.

She is approximately 45 lbs and is scheduled to be vaccinated and spayed. Maggie is a true lover of people and animals alike and is excited to find her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Kingwood Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
