Maybelle's Story...
Maybelle was found abandoned in a rural farming community in Rutherford Co, NC.
date of birth: ~June 22, 2006...adoption fee: $150(includes spay, micro-chip, current Rabies, Bordatella and Parvo-Distemper vax, parasite-free, current on heart worm and flea/tick prevention, current health certificate-issued within 5 days of transport, and new Martindale collar).
This SUPER SWEEEET little girl is in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC and will be transported to her new home/furever family via a bonded pet transport service.
Animals On Board's transport fees are: $135 to all points S of NYC and $185 to NYC and all points N of NYC.
Maybelle is THE sweetest little girl. Friendly, yet not 'in your face', kind-hearted and gentle, willing to please and be the perfect 'couch potato', next to you at night. Housebroken and crate trained, if needed. Quiet with a calm demeanor. The only times you might hear her is when she's 'on a scent'.
Walks well on-leash and gets along well with cats and dogs, and respectful children. A 5' high fenced-in yard is required, especially where children will be living in or visiting the home. Experienced Beaglers may be exempt, depending on their location.

We realize, in a logical perspective, that we are not going to be able to broadly change the World.
But, we know we can be an advocate of change.
We know that we can't rescue every animal in need, but little by little, we can help one animal at a time.
We know we CAN make a difference!

Our goal in rescuing and re-homing animals is to provide them with a loving home for the rest of their life.
The adoption fee covers their medical costs associated with the animal, medical and daily care during their foster period and transport.
All animals adopted by our group MUST BE spayed/neutered prior to finalizing the placement. Most of H4S's adoptibles are in foster care
in Rutherford Co, NC and will be transported to your area via a bonded commercial pet transport service, to your door.
Your signature below states that you understand any future medical costs are your responsibility and we have made full disclosure regarding our & our vet's knowledge of the health of the animal.
Sometimes, for reasons beyond anyone's control, the adoption does not work out.
In this case, the animal must be returned to Howlin4Spirit CARes at the adopter's expense via the same bonded pet transport service used before, at the owner's expense.

Adoption contributions are not refundable, for any reason.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maybelle, a Rocky Hill Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Rocky Hill, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Rocky Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rocky Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rocky Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rocky Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
