Tucker's Story...
The amazing Tucker has just joined Petfinder and is excited to find his forever family. This is a puppy who is suffering from a serious case of TOTAL CUTENESS. Everything he does is cute! Sleeping upside down - cute. Snuggling with his sister Bailey - cute. Falling asleep in his food bowl - cute. (you get the picture).

Tucker (& Bailey) were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Louisiana. They are available for adoption anywhere in the US! Tucker is right around 9-10 weeks old and has an amazing personality. He is great with other dogs, cats and people. He would make an awesome addition to any home!

Please email us at if you are interested in fostering or adopting Tucker! Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of completion of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Richmond Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
