My story

Gater arrived in Feb. of this year from a high kill shelter in rural GA. After his arrival, we learned that he was heartworm positive. Gator has been treated for heartworm disease and was neutered after his treatment was completed. Gator was a scared and nervous boy when he first arrived, but you wouldn't know it now! He comes seeks out attention, puts his feet in your lap, and is very excited to see anyone that comes to his foster mom's house. He loves his crate so much that we leave it (open except for bed time), and he stores his "goodies" in there - toys, chewys and anything he can find in a bag is fair game! Gator is a very happy little man! He shares his house with 4 other dogs and 4 cats and he loves kids! He's learned to love walks and car rides. Like any other dog, he also now loves treats and people food! As of late, he seems like he might really enjoy being a couch potato, too! Gator is a special little man and he's come a long way with lots of love.
