Winny WaWa's Story...
Winny is one hilarious and fun loving little pooch! She weighs just 15 lbs and is about a year old but we think she can carry her weight in toys or firewood, lol. She is very loving and sweet, very friendly with other pets too. She was saved from a rescue that was closed down due to severe neglect so she was very thin when we got her. She looks great now! Winny sometimes hops on three legs when she runs but other times runs fine on all fours. she is housebroken and can't wait to find a forever home...one with TOYS!! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winny WaWa, a Brattleboro Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
